Pentagon Will Order 90% of Employees Back to Work Next Week

On Saturday, the Pentagon announced that next week it would order virtually all of its 350,000 employees back to work next week despite the government shutdown.

The Pentagon said more than 90% of its employees will be at work next week. This means that of the 2.1 million civilian employees who have been away from work during the shutdown, the number of those still away from work next week will drop to 450,000.
