White House press secretary Jay Carney told the assembled media on Tuesday that despite the horrific rollout of the federal government’s Obamacare healthcare exchange website, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius would not be fired.

“The secretary does have the full confidence of the president,” said Carney. Carney said that Sebelius had been told that the problems with the exchanges had to be “addressed.” Republicans haven’t been the only ones pushing for Sebelius’ ouster; former press secretary Robert Gibbs said that Sebelius should resign over the debacle.
