Nancy Pelosi Congratulates Kevin McCarthy

House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has not won his Majority Leader race yet, but House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has already congratulated him on his inevitable victory.

Republicans are expected to elect McCarthy to replace Eric Cantor as House Majority Leader Thursday afternoon.

Pelosi told reporters that she had sympathy for Cantor, although she expressed little sympathy for his plight last week.
