Former Senator Rick Santorum participated in a last minute robo-call pitch for Republican Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney. Citizens United Political Victory Fund, the political action committee arm the group Citizens United, Told Syracuse.com it will finance the Santorum robocalls supporting Tenney’s campaign. :
“Hi, this is Senator Rick Santorum calling on behalf of CitizensUnited Political Victory Fund asking you to vote for Claudia Tenney forCongress in the Republican Primary tomorrow, June 24th,” Santorum saysin the recorded message.
“Claudia is a principled conservative leader who will make a greatmember of Congress: She’ll go to Washington to fix what’s broken, notjoin the club,” Santorum says. “Claudia is pro-life, pro-SecondAmendment, and pro-small business. If you think Washington isn’t workingfor you and your family, stop sending the same people to represent you.Claudia Tenney is a reformer, and will be a breath of fresh air inWashington D.C.”
Tenney was also recently endorsed by high profile conservatives Sean Hannity, Michelle Malkin, Laura Ingraham, and Monica Crowley.
