A new Kaiser Health tracking poll finds that even after four-and-a-half years of being the law of the land, Obamacare remains a mystery to most of the nation’s uninsured.

The poll found that two-thirds (66%) of the uninsured say they know “nothing at all” or “only a little” about Obamacare.

Uninsured individuals are also unaware of Obamacare’s open enrollment period, which is just weeks away.

“Nine in 10 (89%) of the uninsured are unaware of when the next open enrollment period begins, including 76 percent who say they don’t know and 13 percent who suggest a time other than November 2014,” reports Kaiser.

Obamacare remains deeply unpopular. According to the RealClearPolitics average of polls, just 38% of Americans support President Barack Obama’s signature legislative achievement. The Obama White House claims 7.3 million people have enrolled in Obamacare, but the law booted 5 million individuals off their existing plans and then forced them to obtain new insurance.

According to a new Politico poll, only 7% of voters in competitive House and Senate races believe Obamacare will lower the cost of healthcare.

Obamacare will cost U.S. taxpayers $2.6 trillion over the next 10 years.
