Rep. Tom Cotton’s (R-AR) Senate campaign announced Friday it has purchased television time and will be airing a 14-minute long campaign ad focused on Cotton’s connections to his hometown and personal history.

According to the campaign, the lengthy ad — which features testimonials from his mother Avis Cotton, his father Len Cotton and from J. Dow Covey and John Shull who Cotton served with during his time in the military — will play twice in 30-minute blocks of air-time.

In addition to airing on television in the Little Rock, Fort Smith, and Jonesboro markets, a shorter version of the ad will play in movie theaters in the state in the last weekend before Election Day.

“As voters tire of a campaign that has dragged on for over twelve months, this video offers a welcome respite from the deluge of negative ads from outside groups and Hail Mary desperation from Mark Pryor,” Cotton campaign manager Justin Brasell said in a statement. “This is a very positive look at who Tom Cotton is, where he comes from, and his vision for how we can get our country back on the right track.”
