Despite public statements to the contrary, Jeb Bush’s mother is reportedly getting on board with a potential Jeb Bush presidential campaign.

Neil Bush, Jeb’s brother, said that Barbara Bush, who previously said publicly that “we’ve had enough Bushes” in the White House, has “come around now” because so many people have come up to her and said Jeb is the best qualified candidate.

In a Monday interview on Bloomberg’s “Street Smart” program, Neil Bush said he did not know if Jeb will decide to jump in the race but emphasized that Barbara Bush is definitely “starting to swing a little bit” in favor of Jeb running. Neil Bush noted that Jeb Bush has to decide “whether he wants his family to go through this and enter the campaign fray with joy.”

Jeb Bush, realizing that his support for amnesty legislation and Common Core will turn off conservatives, has said that a candidate must be willing to lose the primary in order to win the general and said he would decide “in short order” whether to run for president.
