Friday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” national politics correspondent for The Washington Post Anne Gearan said the Hillary Clinton campaign’s plan to reintroduce her through smaller personal events and gatherings in living rooms across America is “sort of ridiculous on its face.”

When host Mitchell said, “It is hard to reintroduce yourself when someone like Hillary Clinton has been known since the early 1990s.”

Gearan agreed, saying “Right, I mean it’s sort of ridiculous on its face in some ways to talk about reintroducing to America someone who has 100 percent name identification in America. And yet that’s what they are going to be trying to do. They are going to be trying  to show her in a different light more than as a different person.”
