Some may recall news reports at the time of Hillary Clinton’s concussion that ended her testimony on Benghazi before the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sustained a concussion after becoming dehydrated and fainting, and will no longer testify Thursday before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

As recently as last year, Bill Clinton was playing down the concussion, which may have taken Hillary a full six months to recover from.

On Friday, thanks to newly released emails, we learn Hillary herself was joking about it, as opposed to testifying in front of Congress:

I’ll be nursing my cracked head and cheering you on as you “remain calm and carry on.”
