On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Hillary Clinton presidential campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri discussed the controversy regarding the Clinton campaign, including roping the media off in an event over the weekend, the state of the Clinton campaign and her Democratic presidential race opponent Bernie Sanders.

Palmieri also discussed the issues involving Clinton’s email server and said she didn’t see the need for Clinton to turn over the email server from she set up from her time at the State Department.

“We don’t think we have to do that,” Palmieri said. “You know, I worked for President Clinton for eight years. I’ve been in politics for a long time. I understand what comes with presidential campaign and particularly comes with presidential campaign with a candidate that’s been around public service as long as she has. And there’s a lot of — she’s got great experience. But with that comes, you know, comes a lot of issues that they can raise.”
