Trump on Washington Post Priebus Phone Call Story: 'Totally False Reporting'

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is now discrediting reports by the Washington Post and CNN about a supposed 45-minute phone call to him by Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus.

Trump posted on Twitter, “Totally false reporting on my call with ‪@Reince Priebus. He called me, ten minutes, said I hit a ‘nerve’, doing well, end!”

Late Wednesday night, the Post and CNN reported about a call made by Priebus to Trump asking him to tone down his immigration comments.

The Post reported panicked Republican donors pressured Priebus to make the phone call.
