New Jersey Governor Chris Christie mocked Hillary Clinton’s upcoming speech on the economy, suggesting that it would be more of the same Democratic policies.

“I’m sure it will be more regulation, more taxes, higher taxes, and she’ll justify it by saying she’s going to decide who should be getting more money and who should be getting less,” he said in an interview with Fox and Friends this morning.

Christie argued that the American economy should always be based on the American people, “based on their effort, their ingenuity, and the power of their ideas.”

“I’m sure it will be really uplifting,” he said sarcastically. “Maybe Elizabeth Warren wrote this speech the same way she wrote her announcement speech.”
