Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump declared “we should boycott Mexico” in an interview set to air on Sunday’s broadcast of “The Rita Cosby Show” on 77 WABC in New York.

Trump said of Mexico, “It’s a corrupt place. And the court system, I have a judgment for millions of dollars in Mexico. I can’t collect it, because the court system is so bad. It’s a terrible court system. And, let’s put it this way, I’m not going to Mexico. And I don’t think anybody from this country, I think we should boycott Mexico, frankly. Mexico’s treating us very, very badly. And the people of Mexico are terrific. You know, I have great relationships with the people of Mexico. But the problem we have is the government of Mexico is outsmarting our government at every — whether it’s trade or at the border, and so I can’t be angry at them. I’m angry at our government for being so stupid.”

He also argued the escape of drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, “goes to what I’m saying about the whole thing on the border, and the whole thing about crime, and all of the things I’ve said. Whether it’s Kate or him, I mean they all happened, and they happened after I did my big thing on immigration. And people are actually apologizing to me right now. And they’re apologizing very, very strongly. And you know, people that were against what I said. You know what I said was 100% right. I said, ‘Mexico is sending,’ they always left that out. And they all wanted me to apologize, now they’re apologizing to me. So I was right on the crime. I was right on the border. We have to close up our border. We have to build a wall. I can do the wall better than anybody, and that’s the story.”

Earlier, Trump talked about his rally in Arizona and criticism that he drew from Senator John McCain (R-AZ). Trump said, “Well, we had 15,000 people. They were incredible people. They’re amazing Americans. I think John McCain will probably lose if somebody good challenges him in the primary. I think he’ll lose that election. I think he’s very weak on immigration. I think the people in Arizona are wise to him. And I was very surprised. I supported him for president, and he said nasty things because I told the truth. I think that John McCain will lose the election. He was last in his class at Annapolis. He’s got a lot of bad things going, nobody ever mentions that, but when you’re last in your class, that’s not too good. But I think Senator John McCain will lose his election if somebody good challenges him in the primary.”

Trump further commented on the killing of Kate Steinle, stating, “The president should have called and he didn’t call. I think it’s a disgrace. I have spoken to the family, they’re great people. To Brad, the brother and the parents, they’re great people. It is disgraceful that nobody called. Just think of it, nobody called. And this was a tragedy, this was an amazing woman and I — as I told the parents and the brother, she’s gonna leave a huge impact in life. Because Kate Steinle is really, you know, it’s — people really understand what happened. It brought it out when you see this magnificent person just get blown away. She was blown away, by somebody that shouldn’t have been in the country, was thrown out five times, has a huge record of — a criminal record. It’s a very sad thing.”

He further pledged his support for Kate’s Law and argued, “Bill O’Reilly’s doing a great thing by doing that, he’s pushing it very hard, and I would certainly be in favor of it.”

Trump also weighed in on taking away the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Bill Cosby, Trump said, “I think you could take it away. I mean he is, he’s — I’ve never been a fan of Bill Cosby. I’ve never liked him. I’ve known him, I’ve never liked him. I think he was a highly overrated guy, both in talent, and many other ways. And, you know, who would think that this would’ve happened, and then all of a sudden last week, with the court case, where it was unveiled that he actually did this, you know, horrible thing. So I don’t know, I’ve never been a fan. I don’t know if you can take a medal away or not. It’s not the most important thing. But I would say, if you can, take it away.”

He further added of Cosby, “I think he’s guilty as hell.”

Trump heavily criticized the Iran deal as “an absolute disgrace,” and stated that he would use it against Hillary Clinton if he won the general election.
