Two 14-year-olds allowed to set off on a fishing trip from Florida to the Bahamas alone have been missing for two days off the state’s eastern coast.
The Coast Guard is expanding its search for Austin Stephanos and Perry Cohen, who left early Friday in their 19-foot, single engine boat.
They checked in with their parents around 11 a.m., posted photos online at about noon and were last seen buying about $100 worth of fuel from a marina in Jupiter, Flo., about 85 miles north of Miami, authorities said.
