Wednesday at the White House press briefing, in reacting to reports that the inspector general for the intelligence community found in a general sampling of 40 emails, four (10 percent) contained classified information that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton emailed from her private server, principal deputy press secretary Eric Schultz said it is “important to look into it.”

Schultz  said,”This administration takes the roles of  inspectors generals very seriously. They sever an extremely important purpose so when they raise  a possible issue it is important to look into it.”

The IG Charles McCullough has sent the matter to the FBI’s counterintelligence division.
