Donald Trump’s supporters are “mad as hell” — and that’s part of the reason they’re so drawn to him as a presidential candidate.
Republican pollster Frank Luntz conducted a focus group on Monday night in Virginia that featured 29 people who either currently support Trump or have at some point during the campaign expressed support for him.

The group should not be considered representative of the Republican Party as a whole, or of the electorate in early states like Iowa and New Hampshire.
But it provided insight into why a variety of Republican primary voters have allied their support with Trump.
