Several students in one Kentucky county will have an extra long Labor Day weekend because their schools are closing on Tuesday in anticipation of GOP presidential candidate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s rally for Kim Davis, the Rowan County Clerk jailed for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses due to her religious beliefs.

WOWKTV, a local CBS affiliate, reported several schools in Carter County, Kentucky, will close “due to the expected traffic overload from Mike Huckabee’s visit.”

Huckabee is traveling to Grayson, Kentucky, for his “#ImWithKim Liberty Rally.” Davis is jailed at the Carter County Detention Center.

The purpose of Huckabee’s rally is to protest Davis’s imprisonment.

WOWKTV noted five different schools in the district that will close due to the increased traffic and crowds gathering for Huckabee’s rally.
