Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” host Jake Tapper challenged Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) for criticizing Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for not using the term radical Islam when his own brother President George W. Bush said that “Islam is peace.” shortly after the 9/11 terror attacks.

Bush said, “This not a question about religion, this is a political ideology that’s co-opted a religion and I think it’s more than acceptable to call it what it is and then organizing an effort to destroy it.”

When Tapper pushed saying Hillary could not get away with saying “Islam is peace,” Bush defended his brother by saying again the terrorist co-opted a “peaceful” faith.
