The latest poll of Republicans in New Hampshire shows support for Donald Trump continues to rise – even after his controversial plan to bar Muslims from entering the United States.

The WBUR/MassINC poll shows Trump is now leading the state with 27 percent – up four points since the same poll conducted in November. The poll includes voters who are leaning toward supporting a candidate.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is the new second-place holder, with 12 percent support. His careful attention to New Hampshire has apparently paid off, as he was only polling at two percent in the state in September.

Sen. Marco Rubio comes in third with 11 percent.

Here is how it stacks up:

NH WBUR Poll:
Trump 27
Christie 12
Rubio 11
Cruz 10
Bush 8
Kasich 7
Carson 6
Fiorina 3
Rand 2
Huckabee 1

The poll included 402 likely Republican voters in the 2016 New Hampshire primary and was conducted December 6-8. Trump issued his proposal about banning Muslims on December 7.
