Donald Trump on Jeff Sessions: 'Certainly Somebody I Would Consider' for VP

Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump tells reporters that he’s considering Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) as his vice presidential pick.

“Jeff Sessions is a fantastic man,” Trump stated during a press conference at Trump Tower in New York City on Tuesday.

When asked if Sessions is being considered as Trump’s vice presidential candidate, Trump responded, “Certainly, somebody that I would consider.”

Trump touted that Sessions “has never endorsed a presidential candidate before,” until now, in all the years he has served in the United States Senate.
