Melania Trump, wife to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, said Thursday that her husband has been considering his bid to “Make America Great Again” since as long as the two have known each other.
Speaking in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Trump told fired-up supporters that “Make America Great Again is not just some slogan,” but rather a sentiment that her husband has felt deeply throughout their marriage. In recent years, she said, his concern for the country grew more pressing.
Melania complimented her husband’s ability to “shake things up,” prompting one of the most enthusiastic ovations for the mother of Trump’s youngest son.
