Clinton Aide Reacted to Weiner Scandal: 'Get Huma the Hell Out of There'

Hillary Clinton campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri wanted to rescue Huma Abedin during one of Anthony Weiner’s scandals.

“Time to get the hazmat suits,” she wrote in the subject line of an email to now campaign chair John Podesta and Clinton insider Neera Tanden.

“Bust in that house and get Huma the hell out of there,” she added in the email.

The email was sent before either of them had official roles with the Clinton campaign, but it was clear that they knew and respected Abedin.
