President Donald Trump reacted to the news that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell decided to invoke the nuclear option to push his Supreme Court nominee through the Senate.
Trump told reporters on Air Force One that he was not concerned that the decision would have an effect on future nominees, predicting that he could have as many as four nominees throughout his presidency.
I don’t think the nuclear option has anything to do with it at all,” he said.
Trump appeared pleased that his nominee would be confirmed.
“We have a great person right now in Judge Gorsuch,” he said.
