First Lady Melania Trump made her first solo foreign trip on Saturday to Toronto, Canada, where she met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Great Britain’s Prince Harry.

Melania Trump also attended the opening ceremony at the Invictus Games before returning to Washington.

“In just two short years, the Invictus Games have allowed thousands of injured and wounded servicemen and women from many different countries to participate in adaptive sports competitions — something that should be lauded and supported worldwide,” Trump said in a statement.

“I am honored by the opportunity to represent our country at this year’s games,” Trump said.

CNN reported that first lady’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, said Melania Trump extended an invitation to Prince Harry to visit the White House anytime he is in the United States.

Trump met with Team USA and encouraged them before their respective competitions.

“I also want to wish you good luck, but I know you won’t need it in these games,” Trump said in the CNN report. “Take that fighting spirit that I know you have, and bring home the gold.”

Trump joined the U.S. delegation in the stands at the Air Canada Centre for the opening ceremony, where she sat next to Prince Harry, who founded the Invictus Games in 2014.

“The US delegation also included Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin and Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan, as well as US Embassy Ottawa Chargé d’Affaires Elizabeth Moore Aubin, Gold Star mother Karen Kelly, professional golfer Nancy Lopez and entertainer Wayne Newton,” CNN reported.
