President Donald Trump is comfortable with his diet, although reporters have questioned his love of fast food, diet cokes, and two scoops of ice cream.

“I eat fine food. I eat, really, … some of the finest chefs in the world,” Trump said in an interview with Piers Morgan.

The president admitted to eating fast food “on occasion,” especially when he was on the road.

“Sometimes, it makes sense,” he said. “Actually, when you’re campaigning, there’s a lot of sense to it because it’s boom, boom, boom.”

Former campaign officials David Bossie and Corey Lewandowski detailed that Trump’s McDonald’s order during the campaign included two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, and a chocolate malted shake.

But the White House presidential physician Dr. Ronny Jackson told reporters Trump’s diet was improving.

“I don’t think that he does that anymore,” Jackson said when asked about Trump’s appetite for fast food. “I mean, he’s in the White House now. He’s eating what the chefs are cooking for him now, and they’re cooking a much healthier diet for him now.”
