Voters in key electoral states are not impressed with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s proposed Green New Deal, according to a poll.

A majority of likely voters in Michigan and Pennsylvania oppose the Green New Deal, as 35 percent oppose the proposal, and only 23 percent support it. In Wisconsin, 36 percent of likely voters oppose the plan, and 29 percent of voters support it.

But a majority of voters in the three states signaled their belief that climate change was a “serious issue.”

Sixty-four percent in Wisconsin said it was a serious problem that the federal government should address–62 percent in Michigan and 63 percent in Pennsylvania.

Firehouse Strategies/Optimus conducted the poll of likely voters in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan via landline, cell phone, and text, with an estimated margin of error of ± 4.1 in Wisconsin, ± 4.0 in Pennsylvania, and ± 4.5 in Michigan.
