Investigative journalist and best-selling author Kenneth R. Timmerman told Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon that Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama “knew they were lying at the time” of the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack as they addressed the American people and the victims’ families.

Timmerman said:

They had abundant evidence, direct testimony: Greg Hicks–Chris Stevens’ number two in Tripoli, Libya, deputy chief of Mission–he personally called up to Washington to tell them this had nothing to do with a video. The CIA chief of Station on a Wednesday–so the day after the attack–wrote emails up through his chain of command to get to Mike Morrell to tell him the video had absolutely zero to do with it.

He discussed his book, Deception: The Making of the YouTube Video Hillary and Obama Blamed for Benghazi, described at Amazon.com:

The last thing Hillary Clinton wants you to read is the truth about the infamous YouTube video she claimed sparked the Benghazi attacks. That’s why Cindy Lee Garcia–the deceived actress from the video–is Hillary’s worst nightmare. She woke up the day after the Benghazi attacks to see her face all over national television, with Hillary blaming her for the deaths of four Americans.

New York Times best-selling author Kenneth R. Timmerman digs deep into the web of deception surrounding the “hateful” video, with stunning new documents, emails, and interviews with many of the participants.

Timmerman’s web bio states:

Over the past three decades he has interviewed dissidents behind the Iron Curtain, covered numerous Middle East wars, interviewed suicide bombers, debriefed defectors from Iranian intelligence organizations, and covered the plight of Christians persecuted for their faith.
