Pollster and analyst Pat Caddell took it to both the media and pollsters for “missing” the signs driving this year’s election results on Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM with host Alex Marlow, saying, “They’ve learned nothing.”

“People say, ‘No, you couldn’t see it,'” he continued. “Anyone who listened to Breitbart, our show, our discussion for the last eight days or ten days of the campaign knew the forces at work.” Citing factors Breitbart polling looked at “in-depth,” Caddell said, “Yes, you could see it coming, and that’s because these people know nothing about how to poll, and most of them just want to rip off something that’ll make their clients happy.”

He went on, “Worst of all, they share the same assumption of the people they work for. They don’t bother to think that maybe people are thinking differently than them, and they have no respect for the American people as the complex human beings we are. They think everybody is just some cut-out … little pawns to be moved around and manipulated.”

“They write their polls to manipulate people,” continued Caddell. “None of them asked the right questions.”

“Yes, Donald Trump’s temperament and qualifications negatives were high. Well, you know what?” said Caddell. “That didn’t matter against the other things that mattered, which is the country and the fact that he was new.”

Caddell said, “They wanted polls to reinforce their own beliefs and to try to condition people. The subtext of their message was it doesn’t matter. Don’t bother. Hillary’s got it.” He concluded that if one does not believe that was the subtext or subliminal messaging going on, they “really ought to revisit what was said.”

Breitbart News Daily airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
