Milo Yiannopoulos’ event at UC Irvine last evening was oversubscribed, leading to “over 1,000” people being turned away, according to the Breitbart Tech editor.

However, plenty of Milo fans nonetheless gathered outside the venue, where they engaged in chanting competitions with left-wing protesters.

Milo fans chanted “get a job” and “USA! USA!” at the protesters, who in turn shouted “shame on you!” at attendees as they exited the Milo speaking event.

One particularly agitated protester had to be physically held back by classmates.

At some point, protesters became preoccupied with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, chanting “Long live the Intifada!” and “free Palestine!” Their opponents, separated from the protesters by lines of heavily armed policemen, responded by waving an Israeli flag.
