Pharmaceutical entrepreneur and former Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO, Martin Shkreli unveiled his newest art piece titled “Pill 2016” at “Daddy Will Save Us,” Lucian Wintrich’s pro-Trump art show.

The minimalist piece features a red and blue pill in a glass and wood enclosure. The left-wing press turned Shkreli into a folk devil after he raised the price of AIDS medicine.

This piece is about difficult choices, capitalism, and the agony of human progress.
Displaying a pill divided between the comforting dullness of blue, and the fiery wokeness of red, Shkreli asks us to consider the eternal choice between hard truth and blissful ignorance.
Priced at $15,000, Shkreli asks the viewer to consider the costly sacrifices that are sometimes required for the human race to advance.
