NHL Players to Vote on Labor Deal

NHL players will begin voting on Thursday on the new labor deal that owners unanimously ratified on Wednesday.

According to the NHL players’ association, “voting will begin Thursday at 8 p.m. EST and last until Saturday at 8 a.m.” 

If the majority of the players vote for the deal, “training camps will open Sunday, and a 48-game regular season will begin Jan. 19.”
