Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was named the MVP for Super Bowl XLVII after leading the Baltimore Ravens to a 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Flacco completed 22 of 33 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns.

All three of his touchdowns came in the first half. 

Flacco hit wide receiver Anquan Boldin with a 13-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. He found tight end Dennis Pitta with a one-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. And he and wide receiver Jacoby Jones, who also returned a the second half kickoff for a record-tying 108-yard touchdown, connected in the second quarter on a 56-yard touchdown pass.
