Selection Sunday – Michigan (35 of 50 points)

Bid Status: 4-seed in South

Michgan has the abiility to go head to head with Kansas. They have the fourth best trio in the country led by the best player in the country in Trey Burke, and there is nothing better than knowing your backcourt will be going to the NBA to play point guard and shooting guard at the next level. The only things holding Michigan down to a couple of points behind Kansas was the way they finished the season cold – dropping from 5th to 11th in www.kenpom.com, and Tim Hardaway tweaking his ankle this week. Tough matchups though as they start against Nate Wolters, who can light it up and beat everyone, then giant killers VCU or a 7-foot-1 center from Akron will be up next for a Michigan team not as good inside.
