Adrian Peterson enjoyed one of the best seasons ever for a running back this past year. Now, he has come out in opposition to gay marriage.

The elite running back has repeatedly debated with Chris Kluwe, the former Vikings punter who has been outspoken in favor of gay marriage and is now with the Oakland Raiders.

Interestingly, the All-Pro Viking made comments similar to those made by ESPN analyst Chris Broussard, saying  “to each his own, (but) I’m not with it,”Peterson said, referring to gay marriage.

He then added, “I have relatives that are gay. I’m not biased towardsthem. I still treat them the same. I love them. But, again, I’m not withthat. That’s not something I believe in. But to each his own.”

Peterson went on to say that Kluwe had not been cut because of his views, and that he was dismayed to see the outspoken teammate go.
