Costa Rica fans, still bitter that their team lost a World Cup qualifying match to the United States in March in Colorado during a freak snowstorm, greeted the United States men’s soccer team by throwing eggs at them on Tuesday.

When the U.S. national team arrived in Costa Rica ahead of Friday’s World Cup CONCACAF qualifier between the two top teams in the region, the fans reportedly also chanted, “USA no fair play,” as the U.S. team arrived at the airport in San Jose, Costa Rica.
