New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick told his players to not get high before Sunday’s AFC title game against the Denver Broncos at Denver, where marijuana is legal.
Patriots running back LaGarrette Blount said Belichick told the team, “It’s a business trip.”
“He basically told us, ‘Don’t go out there and be stupid.’ [That’s] really good advice,'” Blount said.
The NFL has a ban on marijuana regardless of a particular state’s laws.
