White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said President Barack Obama may no longer participate in selfies at the White House after David Ortiz’s sponsored stunt last week.

“Well, he obviously didn’t know anything about Samsung’s connection to this,” Pfeiffer said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “And perhaps maybe this will be the end of all selfies.”

Pfeiffer added that the White House has “had conversations with Samsung about this and expressed our concerns” and they will “leave that conversation between the lawyers.”

Obama, unbeknownst to him, participated in Ortiz’s selfie, which turned out to be a marketing ploy by Samsung Mobile.
