Rugby is a brutal game. It is played by two teams of 15 players who attack each other for 80 minutes with barely restrained glee. No padding is worn, no helmets are allowed, rugby is a contest of raw physical violence.

For one nine-year-old player taking the field in Canberra, Australia, the approach to the game is simple: he just tramples over the top of every opponent like a human bulldozer.

As the video here shows, young Meaalofa Te’o is happy to pick up the rugby ball and run and run and run while using a ferocious fend to stop any potential tackler.

This highlight reel, captured at a junior tournament, has gone around the world. It reveals a young talent with plenty of years of top-line rugby ahead.

Enjoy.
