After the Tucson tragedy, the one that Democrats used to electioneer, fundraise, and attack conservatives, conservatives were lectured on the importance of civil discourse. They freaked out when conservatives would make jokes.
Politicians created a silly Zoolander-esque National Institute for Civil Discourse for People Who Can’t Talk So Good and Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too.
And then Wisconsin happened and progressives did things like this.
This weekend, they continued the parade of selective civility. After trashing Madison for a weeks straight, they couldn’t muster up enough class to demonstrate appreciation of diverse thought when Palin spoke.
They stopped short of turning a hose on black tea partiers at this rally:
And, at what looks to be the same rally, substituted quasi yo mama remarks and admissions of using the flag as toilet paper for actual sentient thought.
Don’t expect any of these to make the news.
