You’ve all seen the video. A Staten Island resident pleading desperately for help and assistance. “We are gonna die here!” she screams, seemingly to a pool of TV cameras. This is the image CBS, MSNBC, and other news outlets showed you of Donna Solli begging for assistance:  

What you don’t see, what the media didn’t show you, was who she was really talking to. She wasn’t desperately begging the TV stations for help. She wasn’t begging a faceless bureaucrat from FEMA for help. Take a look who she was pleading with and complaining to for the lack of efficient delivery of much needed relief:  

That’s right.  New York Senator Charles Schumer was bearing the brunt of poor Ms. Solli’s anguish.  Only local network NY1 and CNNHLN’s website showed the full exchange. Take a look at how CBS News showed it this morning, beginning at the 1:12 mark:
