NBC: David Gregory Not Scheduled for Sunday's 'Meet the Press'

After a controversial appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press where host David Gregory drew police’s attention by allegedly brandishing a banned large-capacity rifle magazine, NBC announced that Gregory will not be hosting this coming weekend’s show.

NBC announced that Gregory’s vacation was scheduled previous to the controversial Dec. 23 broadcast. He is scheduled to return on January 5.

Washington D.C. police reported that they are investigating the Dec. 23 incident.

NBC has released no statement on the investigation.
