On Tuesday morning, New York Times columnist Paul Krugman was minding his own business at a coffee shop on the Princeton University campus when his world stopped turning. The Princeton University campus received a bomb threat to multiple buildings, forcing evacuation. Naturally, Krugman was upset about the most important victim of the bomb threat: Paul Krugman. Blogging at the New York Times website, Krugman quickly wrote, “Seriously — the whole Princeton campus is being evacuated. In a coffee shop now, but as you can imagine some things I was supposed to have done have been pushed back, and blogging will have to wait.”

With dispatches from the front like that, no wonder Krugman is a Nobel Prize winner.
