An hour after the shooting at Capitol Hill, Slate was already attempting to score political points against a GOP congressman over what they described as the “worst timed” tweet of the shooting.
Slate is apparently unaware of the fact that their own employee, Dave Weigel, was at the same time as the GOP congressman, firing off partisan snark:
This wouldn’t be happening if members of Congress were allowed to carry guns at all times.
