A 25-year-old man responsible for a 2013 shooting at a Lone Star College campus that left four people hospitalized was sentenced to 16 years in prison Wednesday in Harris County District Court.

Trey Foster, the so-called “Lone Star College Shooter,” had pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in September last year.

Authorities charged that he fired at least 10 shots, wounding three people, all of whom survived. (A student also had to be hospitalized after her blood pressure rose too high during the shooting.)
