11 Armed Suspects Arrested Following 9-Hour Armed Standoff on Mass. Highway

Massachusetts State Police arrested 11 people on Saturday who allegedly claimed to be members of a group known as the “Rise of the Moors.” The arrests followed an hours-long standoff with the armed members on Interstate 95 near Wakefield, Massachusetts, after suspects reportedly said they don’t “recognize our laws.”

San Antonio, Texas, Police Chief William McManus says one of his officers is injured after a motorist pulled a gun during a normal traffic stop Friday morning. Despite getting shot in the hand, the officer returned fire, killing two passengers and injuring a third in the subject vehicle.

Texas State Trooper Shot During Pursuit of Bryan Shooting Suspect

The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed Thursday afternoon that a state trooper sustained a gunshot injury during a pursuit of person suspected of being involved in an earlier shooting in Bryan. The still-unidentified officer is in “serious but stable” condition, according to early reports.
