Petraeus: Obama Acknowledged That Iraq War 'Surge' Worked

Politico: On “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace asked Petraeus whether Obama acknowledged that the surge was successful, and Petraeus said: “He did, in fact.”



But Petraeus, now the commander of the U.S. Central Command, said during the Afghanistan deliberations, the administration didn’t spend much time relitigated past battles over Iraq.
