On Monday’s “Olbermann” on ESPN2, host Keith Olbermann addressed MLB’s instant replay system with a monologue arguing that replay “is sucking the life out of baseball.”

Olbermann pointed out that the replays have too long of a wait time so MLB should either implement a one-minute time limit for replays, or just to abandon instant replay altogether because he thinks instant replay is killing baseball.

“I was totally wrong when I thought getting it right was more important than anything else. I don’t need confirmation that every great play wasn’t a mirage. Put in that one-minute time limit at least or simply kill replay now, because replay is well on its way towards killing baseball.”
