Former NBA great Shaquille O’Neal announced his future plans Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “On the Record” to run for sheriff.

Shaq told host Greta Van Susteren when he retires, he would like to be elected as sheriff in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Miami or in New Jersey.

“I think when I really retire and run for sheriff, I think I could do positive things in whatever community that elects me sheriff.”

Van Susteren then asked Shaq if he would reach out to the kids, which he replied “I think I can do that. I have been doing that for a long time. I speak their language. I understand their struggles. I was a former low-level juvenile delinquent. So, you know, I know what their mind is thinking.”
