Sunday, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” that Donald Trump supporters “would be enormously disappointed” if Trump chose former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA) as secretary of state or any other “position of authority.”

“[Romney] called Trump vicious and vile things, he described him in language that’s not possibly compatible with being together,” Gingrich reasoned.

He added, “Speaking for most of the Trump supporters, while we will support President-elect Trump in whatever he does, I think we would be enormously disappointed if he brought Mitt Romney into any position of authority.”
