ESPNU college football analyst Jason Sehorn said his employer is “contradicting” itself by its handling of “SportsCenter: SC6” co-host Jemele Hill’s Twitter rant where she called President Donald Trump a “white supremacist.”
Sehorn, an outspoken conservative, told “Fox & Friends” Thursday that ESPN told him to keep his political beliefs away from his job, and questioned why ESPN is not holding Hill to the same standard.
“I, as a fan and a viewer, tune into ESPN and I don’t want politics,” Sehorn explained. “And I don’t want to look at a person and have to think politics. So, I understood when they asked me to curtail some of my political aspirations. When I see it now, it’s like, ‘Whoa, wait a minute, you told me one thing and you run a program one way and here you are contradicting yourself.'”
He continued, “I want sports when I turn to ESPN and now all of a sudden the lines are getting blurred a little bit.”
